Job summary

SkyWater Search Partners is seeking an IT Manager for a well-established, privately held company in the Twin Cities. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily IT operations, infrastructure, end-user support, and strategic direction to advance systems and security.

You’ll manage ERP and internal business applications, partner with leadership, lead upgrades and integrations, and ensure data integrity while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of IT experience with ownership of systems or environments.
• Experience in small-to-mid-sized company settings.
• Strong background in Microsoft technologies (Windows, O365, Active Directory, networking).
• Experience with ERP systems and business applications.
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
• Strong communication skills and business partnership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT operations including infrastructure, systems, and end-user support
• Manage core business applications, including ERP and other internal systems
• Partner with leadership to align technology with business needs
• Lead IT projects such as upgrades, implementations, and integrations
• Ensure cybersecurity, system reliability, and data integrity
• Manage external vendors and technology partners
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support as needed
