Job summary

Global Compression Services is seeking an IT Manager to oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and support across the Houston HQ and field centers. The role balances day-to-day operations with strategic IT improvements in a lean, fast-moving environment.

The IT Manager will own the IT roadmap, manage the MSP, and drive upgrades across ERP, cybersecurity, and field service technology, while mentoring staff and coordinating with leadership to align IT with growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience including at least 2 years in a management or team lead role.
• Strong working knowledge of network infrastructure, Windows/Azure environments, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP system administration (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to support multi-site or distributed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure across HQ and 12+ service center locations.
• Oversee MSP relationship, SLAs, escalations, and vendor performance; manage third-party vendors.
• Ensure high availability of business systems; lead incident response and disaster recovery planning.
