Job summary

State-of-Nevad, within the Governor's Finance Office, seeks an IT Manager 2 to lead the Tech Team responsible for release and incident management across CORE.NV. You will oversee scheduling, deployment planning, and cross-team coordination with vendors and business units.

You will develop comprehensive testing plans, manage budgets, and provide strategic direction for IT initiatives while promoting continuous improvement in line with IT service management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or closely related field with six years of progressively responsible IT experience.
• Three years of supervisory or project management experience; or one year as IT Manager I; or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise Release Management and Incident Management Operations for CORE.NV.
• Develop and enforce testing plans to ensure production readiness before deployment.
• Lead incident management, including major incident coordination and stakeholder communication.
