Job summary

BBRecruitingUS is assisting a mid-sized manufacturing client in Huntersville, NC, in finding a hands-on IT Manager to lead the technology function during a period of growth and transformation. This player-coach role balances day-to-day IT operations with serving as the primary project manager for high-stakes initiatives.

Initial focus includes ERP transition from Sage 100, a full IT build-out for the new Huntersville facility, and a cloud migration with external providers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT management or senior IT PM in manufacturing/warehousing.
• Led at least one major ERP implementation or migration.
• Strong background in network architecture, cloud migrations and new facility IT setup.
• Experience directing external IT providers/MSPs and juggling multiple projects.
• On-site work in Huntersville, NC; PMP or equivalent preferred; ProAlpha experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Enterprise Project Management across critical initiatives.
• Lead ERP transition from Sage 100 and data/process improvement.
• Manage cloud migration with external providers for scalable infrastructure.
• Direct barcode/WMS integration to optimize inventory and production.
• Build the internal IT department and govern vendor relationships.
• Ensure IT security, backups, and disaster recovery across sites.
• Coordinate IT standards with HQ in Germany.
