Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an IT Manager to lead the organization’s technology function while remaining hands-on with daily user support, systems, security, and problem resolution. The role guides technology decisions, manages outside providers, and supports a secure, scalable IT environment across locations.

Relocation assistance may be available. You’ll lead IT operations, manage the ERP launch, and drive connectivity, reporting, and process improvements across onsite and remote teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
• Progressive experience supporting and leading a broad IT environment with some management.
• Experience with ERP, networks, cybersecurity, user administrations, backups, remote access, and vendors.
• Ability to balance strategy with hands-on troubleshooting and daily support.
• Experience managing technology vendors, contracts, budgets, and projects.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical topics clearly to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT operations and serve as internal technology resource.
• Provide hands-on support for computers, accounts, apps, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain networks, devices, collaboration tools, and remote access solutions.
• Guide implementation and support of the new ERP platform and processes.
• Align technology across locations and remote workforce.
• Manage cybersecurity controls, backups, data protection, and third-party security services.
• Evaluate VPN/remote access and recommend secure improvements.
• Oversee outside IT providers, hosting partners, vendors, licensing, SLAs, and invoices.
• Communicate technology priorities, risks, and projects to leadership.
• Partner with departments to improve workflows, reporting, and data access.
• Lead IT projects, upgrades, and infrastructure refreshes.
• Manage IT budget and develop short-/long-term plans.
• Evaluate emerging tools and support adoption of AI responsibly.
• Provide occasional after-hours support for critical issues.
