Job summary

Glocomms is recruiting an IT Manager for Data Governance in New Jersey. You will own the ServiceNow CMDB, manage IT asset governance, and ensure accurate data flows between CMDB, endpoint management, and identity systems.

You will design automated workflows, strengthen data quality, and lead governance across enterprise platforms while partnering with infrastructure and security teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with ServiceNow, CMDB, ITAM or ITOM.
• Strong CMDB data model knowledge and data quality focus.
• Experience with endpoint management platforms (Intune, JAMF, SCCM).

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain ServiceNow CMDB and asset data governance.
• Improve CMDB health with rules, reconciliation, deduplication and lifecycle management.
• Build integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms (Intune, Entra ID, others).
• Develop automated data sync and workflows using REST APIs and Flow Designer.
• Manage Discovery and MID Servers across hybrid infrastructure.
• Create CMDB health reports and dashboards for leadership.

IT Manager, Data Governance (PR/612136) Piscataway, New Jersey

Salary: USD150000 - USD190000 per year

Glocomms is partnering with an innovative and scaling biotechnology organization that ishiring an IT Manager, Data Governance to take ownership of CMDB and IT asset governance within a large, complex enterprise environment. This person will be responsible for improving data quality, automating asset and configuration management processes, and ensuring accurate information flows between ServiceNow, endpoint management, identity, and other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring configuration and asset data is accurate, complete, and properly governed.
• Improve CMDB health through identification rules, reconciliation, deduplication, lifecycle management, and standardized data ownership.
• Manage IT asset lifecycle processes, including onboarding, allocation, ownership, maintenance, and retirement.
• Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and other enterprise platforms.
• Develop automated data synchronization and workflows using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.
• Manage and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery and MID Servers across hybrid infrastructure.
• Create CMDB health reports, asset compliance dashboards, and lifecycle reporting for IT leadership.
• Partner with infrastructure, endpoint, identity, and application teams to improve data quality and accountability.
• Support audit and regulatory requirements through strong data governance, documentation, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the scalability of IT asset and configuration management.

Requirements & Desired Skills:

• 8+ years of progressive IT experience with strong experience in ServiceNow, CMDB, ITAM, or ITOM.
• Deep understanding of CMDB data models, CI governance, Discovery, reconciliation, and data quality.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID.
• Hands-on knowledge of REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, OAuth, JSON, and system integrations.
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting and automation, including Business Rules, Transform Maps, Scheduled Jobs, IntegrationHub, or Flow Designer.
• Knowledge of ITIL Configuration, Asset, and Change Management practices.
• Experience working with endpoint management platforms such as Intune, JAMF, or SCCM.
• Strong understanding of data governance, normalization, reconciliation, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Excel and Power BI for reporting and analysis.
• ServiceNow and/or ITIL certifications are preferred.
• Experience supporting a large, regulated enterprise environment is a plus.
