Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking an IT Manager for Data & Analytics in Indianapolis, IN. You will design and build scalable data pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and deliver impactful dashboards to empower business teams.

Qualifications include a degree in a related field and several years in data engineering or data architecture, with expertise in Spark, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Python/Scala, and Azure. Collaboration across stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
  • Several years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
  • Expertise in Apache Spark and Microsoft Fabric for large-scale processing.
  • Strong SQL, Python or Scala, and experience building data pipelines.
  • Cloud experience, preferably Azure, with understanding of distributed systems and data modeling.
  • Attention to detail, data governance, and data quality practices.

What Makes You Great
  • You hold a degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field and bring several years of experience in data engineering or data architecture
  • Demonstrated strong expertise in Apache Spark and modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric for large scale data processing
  • You are highly skilled in structured query language, Python or Scala and have hands on experience building and optimizing data pipelines
  • Proven experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure, along with a solid understanding of distributed systems and data modeling
  • You apply strong problem solving skills, attention to detail and a clear understanding of data governance and data quality practices
  • You collaborate effectively with teams, communicate clearly, and contribute to reporting, data integration, and continuous improvement initiatives
