Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Continuous Improvement Process Engineer to analyze production processes, reduce waste, and improve OEE. You will leverage data to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline and 5+ years of CI experience in manufacturing, with knowledge of Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and Lean Six Sigma. PMI/PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Quality Control, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of formal Continuous Improvement Engineer experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.
  • Data-driven with data analysis and statistical tools, work combination charts, and value stream mapping.
  • Deep knowledge of Kaizen, TPM, and 5S methodologies.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification or equivalent preferred.
  • PM/ PMP certification or related qualifications preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office knowledge; Upland PowerSteering Productivity software preferred.

  • Improve processes and systems to make work simpler, more efficient, and consistent.
  • Create documentation and structure so teams can follow processes with confidence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change and alignment.
  • Lead improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methods.
  • Plan projects, anticipate risks, and ensure timelines and deliverables stay on track.
  • Guide teams in adopting new practices to sustain improvements.

  • Further, you will lead improvement initiatives, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methods to achieve meaningful results
  • You will bring organization and accountability to projects, planning work, anticipating risks, and ensuring timelines and deliverables stay on track
  • In addition, you will help teams adopt new practices, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure improvements stick over the long term
  • You will deliver measurable business impact, focusing on improvements that generate clear performance gains and meaningful outcomes
What Makes You Great
  • You will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Quality Control, or related discipline
  • More than five (5+) years of formal Continuous Improvement Engineer experience in an Industrial / Manufacturing environment
  • Proven data driven experience using data analysis and statistical tools, work combination charts, and value stream mapping
  • You have deep knowledge of Kaizen, TPM, and 5S methodologies
  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma or equivalent is preferred
  • Prior experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office, it is preferred that you have prior experience with Upland PowerSteering Productivity software, but it is not required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or related qualifications preferred
