We are looking for a dynamic hands-on Information Technology Manager to lead our information technology services function. This position reports to Luckie's Chief AI Officer and has one direct report.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
The Information Technology Manager is expected to both manage and support:
- On-premise server and network infrastructure
- Help desk support and ticketing system
- SOC 2 Type 2 security compliance
- All telecommunications
- Mission-critical delivery applications
- Ongoing cybersecurity risks
- Employee hardware procurement, deployment, and lifecycle
- Technology vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing
Infrastructure & Operations
- Maintain Luckie's on-premise server, storage, and network hardware at continuous availability, including firmware and patch currency, environmental and capacity monitoring, active warranty and support coverage, and end-of-life replacement planning
- AWS, QTS and other hosting provider management
- Remote Gateway/Site VPN administration
- Familiarity with Windows Server and macOS in a mixed environment
- Extensive general networking knowledge, including switching, routing, wireless, DNS and DHCP
- Manage audio visual needs across offices with an emphasis on the video conference experience
- Update and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans covering both cloud and on-premise systems, with annual test and learns
Security & Compliance
- Lead Security Compliance Team meetings and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance
- Strong focus on cybersecurity risk mitigation
- Extensive knowledge of cloud security best practices
- Administer identity and access management, including single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and access provisioning and deprovisioning tied to onboarding, role change, and departure
- Endpoint management and device compliance across Mac and Windows, covering enrollment, disk encryption, patching, and endpoint protection
- Strong understanding of each client Service Level Agreement (SLA) or Business Associate Agreement (BAA)
Development Team Support
- Provision and maintain the hosting, environments, and underlying infrastructure the development team builds on, including AWS resources, access, and credentials
- Timely setup and live production support to the development team
- Working familiarity with the development team's toolchain, including GitHub, Docker, JIRA and CI/CD tooling, sufficient to resolve access, integration, and environment issues. The development team owns pipeline configuration and deployments.
- Negotiate and manage software vendor contracts, including renewals, pricing and terms, license true-ups, and consolidation of overlapping or underused tools
- Own the technology vendor relationship set: hosting, telecom and ISP, security, hardware resellers, and managed service providers
- Oversee IT budget, procurement, licenses, lease agreements, and fixed assets tracking
- Manage equipment purchasing and leasing programs, including refresh cycles, lease term tracking, and end-of-lease return or buyout decisions
- Procure, configure, and deploy employee hardware, then walk new hires through first login and account setup so they are productive on Day One
- Recover, wipe, and re-provision equipment at role change or departure
Support & Enablement
- Manage helpdesk support and ticketing process based on priorities and response time metrics
- Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams support
- IT education and clear operating procedures repository for non-technical end users
- Complete and ongoing documentation of the IT environment maintained, at a level of detail that allows another person to cover during an absence
- IT project planning and management for technology implementations and transitions
- Set direction, assign work, and develop the skills of one direct report
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Strong leadership, project planning and communication abilities (both verbal and written) are required. The IT Manager will partner closely with executive and department leadership to deliver technology applications and ongoing support that drive business objectives. A passion for continuous improvement, training, expense management and the ability to consistently deliver improved technical outcomes is critical.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar
- Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting 50+ people across multiple offices
- Direct experience maintaining on-premise server and network hardware, not solely cloud administration
- Experience managing a mixed macOS and Windows environment
- Experience negotiating software and hardware vendor contracts and managing renewal cycles
- Amazon Web Services and/or virtualized application hosting environment experience
- Experience operating within an audited control environment such as SOC 2 or HITRUST
- Availability for after-hours escalation on infrastructure and security incidents
- Highly regulated industry (healthcare, pharma, financial services) a plus
- Marketing, Technology or Agency experience a plus
