Job summary

Harris County is seeking an IT MAC Manager for Precinct 2 to plan, document, approve, and execute all MAC activities across the precinct's infrastructure. The role includes project planning, schematics development, procurement oversight, cost tracking, and coordination with HCUS.

Responsibilities also cover leading the IT MAC team, ensuring adherence to county technology standards, and providing updates to stakeholders while working in a clerical/office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline required.
• Experience developing technology schematics and tracking project budgets.
• Ability to develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout documentation for an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, schematics, and resource requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction to the IT MAC team to ensure coordination and successful project execution.
• Create technical schematics and documentation required for internal approval prior to project initiation.
• Ensure all projects, including changes, have proper documented approvals before work begins.
• Coordinate procurement of assets, track delivery, and oversee installation and configuration.
• Serve as Precinct 2 liaison to Harris County Universal Services for project scope and coordination.
• Track all project costs and provide financial reporting to internal customers.
• Monitor project progress, maintain schedules, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure projects adhere to Harris County technology standards and precinct operational approvals.
