Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Director, IT M&A Integration to lead end‑to‑end IT integration for acquisitions, from due diligence through complete integration, aligning with enterprise deal objectives and governance.

You will own the IT M&A portfolio, supervise a team of program and project managers, and apply Practical Process Improvement (PPI) to standardize methodologies across the organization. Travel up to 50% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience including IT integration or M&A programs.
• 8+ years of IT people management experience with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior IT leader fully accountable for end‑to‑end IT integration for new acquisitions.
• Maintain dual reporting with IT leadership and the IMO to align with deal objectives.
• Lead IT due diligence for prospective acquisitions, assess technology risk, licensing, cybersecurity, and cost.
• Own and manage the IT M&A portfolio including budgeting, forecasting, and synergy realization.
• Lead change management and communications planning for stakeholders across units to support smooth transitions.
