Job summary

Leidos seeks an Information Technology (IT) Lead to oversee an ACAT 1 systems development program using SAFe and model-based systems engineering. You will guide IT strategy, manage staff, and ensure secure, scalable IT infrastructure while coordinating with internal teams and the PMO.

Reporting to the Operations Lead, you will drive architecture, requirements analysis, data flow, and risk management, delivering IT services that align with mission milestones and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field and at least 20 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 12 years of IT-related experience, including at least 8 years in IT management.
• Extensive experience leading and managing system administrators, network administrators, and IT professionals.
• Experience implementing and managing IT projects, ideally with Agile, Scrum, SAFe.
• Ability to collaborate across internal and customer organizations; operate under mission-driven constraints.
• Experience presenting strategies to executive leadership; SAFe and Agile environments beneficial.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and evaluate IT staff including system and network admins.
• Ensure availability, reliability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure and services.
• Coordinate and prioritize IT projects and initiatives for timely delivery.
• Develop and oversee IT policies and best practices, ensuring policy compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex IT issues and escalate as needed.
• Provide leadership in architecture, design, development, and testing for programs.
