Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Lead to oversee the IT department for a nationally significant ACAT 1 program. The role focuses on architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, and system security within SAFe delivery practices.

The ideal candidate will have extensive IT management experience, the ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a track record of delivering IT projects within mission-critical timelines, including engaging with executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years IT experience, including 8+ years in IT management.
• Experience leading system administrators, network admins, and IT professionals.
• Experience implementing and managing IT projects using Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Experience on large-scale programs with technology assessments and capability roadmaps.
• Ability to collaborate across internal and customer teams.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and evaluate IT staff.
• Ensure availability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate and prioritize IT projects for timely delivery.
• Develop and oversee IT policies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex IT issues and escalate as needed.
• Promote innovation and customer-focused IT service.
• Monitor IT trends and assess applicability.
• Provide regular updates on IT performance and challenges.
