Human Power BG is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer for a fully remote role. The team operates at the intersection of finance, trading, and encryption, with headquarters in New York and Bulgarian partners.

You will work in a high-velocity environment on enterprise-grade services using Java, Spring Boot, and modern tooling. The ideal candidate has strong Java backend expertise, hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, OAuth, AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL, and container

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Gradle.
• REST APIs with OAuth & related techs.
• AWS experience and Terraform IaC familiarity.
• PostgreSQL database knowledge.
• Docker/Kubernetes & related technologies.

Our partner is an American start-up company with Bulgarian partners. Their work is at the intersectoin of finance/ trading and encription. They are headquartered in New York and are looking for talented professionals to join the team and work remotely . For this remote position, we are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join the team and work within their enterprise. If you are passionate about technology, always seeking to learn and improve your skillset, you are the type of person we are looking for!

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Reactive JAVA
• Spring, Modern Spring boot, Gradle
• REST APIs, Oauth & related technologies
• AWS experience
• IaC experience (Terraform)
• PostgreSQL
• Docker/ Kubernetes & related technologies
• Linux poweruser knowledge (dev env is Linux / OS, Windows only in VMs)
• Major plus: transactional & accounting focused software (trading, gambling, betting, biding, crypto)
• Maintaining a full application lifecycle, including updates, compliance, etc.

SOFT SKILLS

• Fluent English
• Totally flexible working hours, 30min weekly call
