Job summary

team.blue is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join a cross-functional, agile team and contribute to designing scalable, secure services. You will collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate business needs into robust solutions, shaping architecture decisions and ensuring code quality.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on high availability, SaaS/PaaS considerations, and modern tooling like Docker and Kubernetes, with strong emphasis on testing and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on Java programming.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming principles (OOP, OOD, SOLID), algorithms, data structures and design patterns.
• Proven experience with Java frameworks, with emphasis on Spring.
• Experience implementing automated testing strategies.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to high availability solutions and SaaS/PaaS models.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containers and components.
• Ability to use AI tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring architecture and code quality.
• Fluency in Italian (written/spoken) and English communication.

Nice to have skills:

• Basic knowledge of PHP and the ability to work with its frameworks
• Working knowledge of Helm charts

Salary Range : 34,297€ - 48,995€ gross yearly
