Job summary

The NYC Financial Information Services Agency - Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) is seeking an IT Intern in the Technical Services group to gain hands-on experience in enterprise Windows administration, focusing on patch management and endpoint security. The role offers exposure to Ivanti, SCCM/MECM, and data-driven auditing in a professional setting.

Qualifications

• College student enrolled in IT-related field and continuing enrollment during assignment.
• Coursework in information technology, computer science or MIS preferred.
• Ability to learn enterprise Windows administration and endpoint security.

Responsibilities

• Assist in endpoint management and patching using Ivanti and SCCM/MECM.
• Learn to generate and distribute reports on software inventory and patch compliance with Excel.
• Resolve routine Windows 11 issues and support troubleshooting using Event Viewer, Task Manager and Command Prompt.
• Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to how-to guides for patching procedures.
