Job summary

The IT Intern at Plexus Corp. will assist in development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of systems and applications, while providing daily IT support. You will contribute to monitoring, recovery documentation, and basic app development to meet company needs.

Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS for the entire duration of internship.
• Junior level status is preferred.
• GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenance of new and current systems and applications.
• Assist in daily IT support functions.
• Resolve routine operational issues and support service desk activities.
• Review monitoring systems and performance data to help identify issues and improve metrics.
• Develop and update project, system and disaster recovery documentation and SOPs.
• Assist in development of simple to moderate new applications to fulfill company needs.
• Complete assigned projects to support existing software and hardware.
• Uphold security policies and protect data and systems by following Plexus cybersecurity protocols.
