Sonaca North America is seeking an IT Intern to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of software within the IT Department. The intern will work under supervision, model company values, and contribute to project planning and documentation.

The role emphasizes familiarity with current technologies, ability to prepare business cases, and strong communication skills. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aerospace software environments while pursuing an advanced

Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s in IT preferred.
• Undergraduate students will be considered.
• Familiarity with web-based programming tools.
• Ability to prepare a business case.
• Good administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently under general direction of leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and administration of IT projects in MS Project.
• Assist with developing and tracking performance metrics.
• Assist with creating documentation for projects and usage of systems implemented by the applications group.
• Help ensure compliance with standards by assisting with preparing and/or reviewing project documentation and deliverables.
• Participate in system quality assurance and application testing activities.
• Help with updating weekly production plan targets for the group.
