Job summary

Thea Energy in New Jersey is seeking an IT Intern to join our IT team. You will gain hands-on exposure to day-to-day IT operations, help troubleshoot hardware and software, and support internal projects.

Ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing IT support, systems administration, or network engineering, this role offers practical experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Active Directory, plus the chance to contribute to infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Basic understanding of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
• Solid troubleshooting mindset and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Help Desk Support: triage, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for local and remote employees.
• Device Management: configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, workstations, printers, etc.
• Software & Account Setup: assist with onboarding/offboarding, setting up accounts in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AD, or internal tools.
• Documentation: create and update IT guides and troubleshooting docs.
• Inventory Tracking: track hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
• Project Assistance: support IT infrastructure projects (migrations, network upgrades, security audits).
