Job summary

Granite Construction invites interns to gain hands-on experience in IT and operations within a multi-office construction environment. The IT Intern will assist staff, participate in projects, and learn the functions of a busy IT department.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a community college or undergraduate program. The role supports PC hardware/software, Windows 365, and SharePoint, with strong communication and teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• Requires PC hardware and software proficiency in Windows 365
• Strong written, analytic, and verbal communication skills
• Experience interfacing with various management levels is beneficial
• Ability to manage resources and projects in a matrix environment
• Team player with leadership potential and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with PC deployments, Help Desk tasks, documentation and projects
• Help users with computer and telephony hardware/software issues
• Demonstrate excellent written, analytic, and verbal communication
