Job summary

RHI Magnesita invites applications for an Information Technology Intern position at our York, PA facility. This paid internship offers hands-on exposure to IT support, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications in a global manufacturing environment.

You will gain experience with end-user support, asset management, documentation, and IT project involvement while collaborating with seasoned IT professionals to solve real-world challenges.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for employees at the York facility.
• Triage and route IT support requests; assist with hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and network issues.
• Help deploy, configure, maintain computers and technology equipment.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access requests.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and software licensing records.
• Assist with IT projects involving infrastructure, systems, and business applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
