Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking an IT Intern for Summer 2027 at our Truck Divisional Headquarters in Woodridge, IL. The role focuses on supporting end users, maintaining inventory, creating and deploying system images, and assisting with hardware installation.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an undergrad IT program with a 3.0 GPA, strong communication, teamwork, and a professional, proactive mindset. This internship offers hands-on training and exposure to enterprise IT operations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate IT program.
• Minimum GPA requirement 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to interface with customers and provide group and / or one-on-one support and training.
• Ability to work within a Team environment.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Must exhibit the highest professionalism, self-initiative, enthusiasm, and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support and training for computer systems and network-based software applications.
• Maintain end user system replacement lifecycle. Maintain accurate inventory records to facilitate replacements according to established schedules.
• Create, Maintain and Deploy system images.
• Install and support hardware such as PCs, various printers, and storage peripherals.
• Troubleshoots user hardware, software, and network issues.
• Ensure that workstation configuration complies with established policies, standards, licensing agreements, and configuration guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
