JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with IT service requests and support calls, including basic hardware, software, application, and connectivity troubleshooting.


• Assists with the setup, configuration, and deployment of desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other end-user technology.


• Supports routine user account administration and software installation under the direction of IT staff.


• Documents service requests, troubleshooting performed, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system.


• Assists with IT equipment and asset inventory.


• Performs routine operational and system support tasks as assigned.


• Works with members of the IT team on projects and initiatives across areas such as systems, networking, cybersecurity, applications, and technology infrastructure.


• Gains exposure to the operation and support of technology within a 24/7 business environment.


• Communicates effectively and professionally.


• Follows Company and departmental policies and procedures.


• Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior professional IT experience is not required.


• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and networking concepts preferred.


• Interest in developing a career in information technology.


• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and work with different areas of IT.


• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.


• Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.


• Must be able to wear the assigned uniform provided by Delaware Park.


• Must be able to walk and stand for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift.


• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and push or pull up to 50 lbs.


• Ability to bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp as needed.


• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Must be able to work throughout the property in environments that may include extended walking distances, confined spaces, noise, music, varying lighting conditions, and varying temperatures.
