Job summary

CarGurus LLC is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer II to build and improve integrations across our cloud-first IT stack. You will work with Boomi, Okta Workflows and cross-functional partners to deliver reliable solutions and maintain strong documentation.

You'll develop hands-on expertise in our SaaS portfolio, optimize the AI-enabled tools, and collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and evolve our enterprise ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience administering or building integrations in a corporate IT environment.
• Hands-on experience with developing integrations in iPaaS platforms like Boomi.
• Knowledge of API concepts including OAuth, API keys, data mapping and webhooks.
• Ability to write or maintain scripts or automation rules (Python, JavaScript, Jira Automation, or Okta Workflows).
• Familiarity with SaaS administration across collaboration or identity tools (Atlassian, Google Workspace, Okta).
• Curiosity and openness to AI/LLM tooling as part of the IT portfolio.
• Strong documentation and runbook skills; good written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations between SaaS apps and core enterprise systems using Boomi and Okta Workflows.
• Build and iterate workflow automations to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Support and optimize the SaaS stack, including AI tools like Glean and Claude.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, debug automation scripts, and identify root causes.
• Document integration workflows, automation processes, and platform configurations.
• Participate in architecture discussions, understanding dependencies and data flows.
