Job summary

Oliver James Associates Ltd. is seeking an IT Manager, Integration & Automation to lead a hands-on engineering team responsible for strategy, architecture, delivery, and modernization of the enterprise integration platform.

The role focuses on API-first, cloud-native solutions connecting Guidewire and other enterprise systems. The ideal leader combines deep technical expertise with people leadership, shaping standards, mentoring engineers, and advancing modernization initiatives across cloud

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience leading technical engineering teams with responsibility for people leadership and technical direction.
Strong experience with enterprise integration architecture, REST APIs, and API governance.

Responsibilities

Lead the enterprise integration strategy, architecture, and technical roadmap.
Drive modernization initiatives including API-first architecture, cloud migration, and event-driven integrations.
Own enterprise API management, governance, lifecycle management, and cloud-native integration standards.
Lead design, development, deployment, and support of integrations across Guidewire, enterprise apps, cloud platforms, and third-party vendors.
Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, engineering standards, mentoring, and technology decision-making.
Build and develop a high-performing engineering team and manage priorities, delivery, and operational excellence.
Promote modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, Agile delivery, and AI-assisted development.
Identify automation opportunities including RPA, partnering with teams responsible for enterprise AI initiatives.
