Qualifications

• Current OSHA 10 General Industry certification.
• Experience teaching or working with computer hardware, operating systems, networking, cybersecurity, programming, technical support, or systems administration.
• Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning concepts, AI-supported productivity or troubleshooting, prompt design, output verification, bias awareness, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience with game development, game engines, interactive technologies, gamification, simulations, or challenge-based learning.
• Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, automation, scripting, data analysis, dashboards, or emerging technologies.
• Experience using Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Cloud, digital instructional platforms, and industry-standard technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Information Technology lessons aligned with the curriculum and assess student knowledge and technical competency using a variety of instructional and assessment methods.
• Teach IT topics including safety and ethics, hardware, operating systems, troubleshooting, digital productivity, programming, networking, cybersecurity, AI, automation, virtualization, and enterprise technologies.
• Develop students' problem-solving and employability skills and prepare them for IT career pathways and industry certifications.
• Participate in building- and district-level meetings, professional development, and curriculum improvement activities.
