Job summary

Vigor Marine Group is seeking an IT Initiatives Lead to plan and execute internal IT and security initiatives, reporting to the VP IT. The role blends technical understanding with strong communication and project management skills.

You'll ensure security/compliance (NIST 800-171) across plans, collaborate with Security, and document requirements, status, and metrics. Hybrid or remote work is possible in Seattle or Portland with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred but not required.
• At least three years IT/Information Security and Project Management experience required.
• ITIL, PMP or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of internal IT and security initiatives from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management plans.
• Track progress, mitigate risks, and report status to stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings, including kickoff meetings, status meetings, and post-implementation reviews.
• Ensure all initiatives adhere to security and compliance requirements, particularly NIST 800-171.
• Collaborate with the Security team to incorporate Security controls and best practices into all plans.
• Produce clear, concise, and well-organized documentation for all job duties, including but not limited to plans, requirements documents, status reports, process flows, and training guides.
• Provide regular reporting on portfolio, key performance indicators, and other assigned metrics as necessary.
