Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership of a team
• Hands-on cybersecurity experience: risk assessment, incident response, and frameworks
• Experience managing VoIP/telephony systems and a help desk operation
• Strong network administration and server/cloud background across multiple locations

Responsibilities

• Own the security posture: risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, remediation planning
• Implement and maintain endpoint protection, access controls, MFA, and monitoring across all systems
• Run the phone systems (VoIP/PBX): uptime, migrations, and vendor management
• Manage and mentor the help desk team, and set SLAs for ticket response and resolution
• Direct network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, wireless) across locations
• Manage servers, cloud services, backups, and disaster recovery planning
• Own the IT budget, vendor contracts, and hardware/software procurement
• Build and manage the IT team: hiring, performance, development

A medical equipment company serving practices across North America is hiring an IT Infrastructure Manager to own cybersecurity, telephony, and IT operations for a multi-site organization. You'll report to the VP of IT Infrastructure and Operations and run day-to-day reliability for the systems the business depends on.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

What you’ll do

• - Own the security posture: risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation planning
• - Implement and maintain endpoint protection, access controls, MFA, and monitoring across all systems

What we’re looking for

• - Hands‑on cybersecurity experience: risk assessment, incident response, frameworks like NIST or CIS
• - Experience managing VoIP/telephony systems and a help desk operation
• - Strong network administration and server/cloud background (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• - Comfortable owning vendor relationships and translating technical risk into business terms for leadership

Nice to have

• - HIPAA or healthcare compliance experience
• - CISSP, Security+, CCNA, ITIL, or PMP
• - Experience in a multi-location organization
