Job summary

KellyMitchell Group seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, execute and finalize IT infrastructure projects in our Chicago-based team. You will coordinate across IT leadership, track milestones, scope, and budgets, and ensure change management processes are followed.

The role requires self-sufficiency with minimal supervision while collaborating with stakeholders. On-site in Chicago, IL, you will manage multiple IT/infrastructure initiatives, report progress to leadership, and partner with

Qualifications

• Management of multiple concurrent IT projects.
• Experience running construction projects.
• Proficient with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and PPM.
• Strong written and oral communication within the sponsoring business areas.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT/Infrastructure projects of varying sizes.
• Be accountable for on-time and on-budget deliverables.
• Collaborate with other project managers to assure a consistent implementation of project management disciplines and methodologies.
• Coordinate project activities leveraging team members across areas of the enterprise, vendors, external agencies and partners.
• Document and actively manage project dependencies, issues and risks to resolution.
• Prepare and provide regular updates on progress, risks, issues, etc. to department leadership/sponsors.
• Scope, estimate, and plan new IT/Infrastructure projects.
• Track, manage, report, and forecast project labor hours and project financials.
• Track and manage required technology acquisition, working with procurement and vendors to ensure PO’s, delivery, and invoicing are completed in accordance with project schedule.
