Job summary

KellyMitchell is seeking a Technology Infrastructure Senior Technical Project Manager for a leading financial services client in Chicago. This is a W-2 role with hybrid work and on-site days.

You will lead cross-functional teams, establish governance, and manage scope, schedule and budget for large infrastructure programs. Pay ranges from $47–$68 per hour with strong benefits and ESOP/401K options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of dedicated technical project/program management experience driving highly complex IT infrastructure initiatives.
• PMI PMP or ACP certification.
• Experience applying Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies in a large corporate setting.
• Familiarity with core infrastructure: servers, storage, networks, databases, middleware.
• Experience with Clarity and workflow tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with MS Office including MS Project, SharePoint and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver large infrastructure technology programs following corporate standards and best practices.
• Provide governance, define phases, set roles, and track key deliverables and milestones.
• Develop project plans and hands-on execution to manage scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies with contingency plans.
• Forecast resource needs, facilitate technical working sessions, and establish clear communication.
• Provide timely status updates to leadership and escalate roadblocks when needed.
