Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Americas is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in administering a portfolio of Shared Services infrastructure projects. Based onsite in New Haven, CT, you will work with project managers, solution architects and leads to drive data center, cloud migration, security and end-user service initiatives.

You will develop project plans, manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and produce progress reports for executive and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, operations or technical project delivery.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components; servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms, data centers.
• Experience supporting JD Edwards and SAP ERP related projects.
• Experience with AIX, RedHat Linux, and SUSE Linux.
• Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project).
• Experience supporting hardware refresh cycles, cloud migrations, and App Modernization.
• 4-year college degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Business; relevant education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects under supervision from PMO.
• Take lead on delegated projects from PMO.
• Maintain and update project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status trackers for infrastructure workstreams.
• Work closely with stakeholders at all levels including business leadership, executive teams, project teams, and business users.
• Interface with Shared Services technology team and external providers.
• Coordinate hardware procurement, rack/stack activities and datacenter logistics.
• Assist with Change management processes.
• Prepare periodic project progress reports for leadership and stakeholders.
