Job summary

CRB Workforce is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager in Austin, TX. The role leads a hands-on team of network, security and system admins while delivering enterprise‑wide infrastructure architecture and ongoing improvements.

You will implement SOPs, manage cloud and on‑prem environments, drive uptime, data integrity and security, and partner with cross‑functional groups to enable business growth. Key qualifications include 5+ years in IT infrastructure with hands‑on leadership, strong scripting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, systems, or network administration roles.
• 2+ years directing or overseeing technical staff while remaining hands-on.
• Strong networking, cloud, and core IT infrastructure skills (Windows OS, AD, Entra/Azure AD, Azure).
• Ability to produce documentation and SOPs with minimal oversight.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Ansible for basic automation.
• Credentials like CISSP, CCNP, MCSE, or Azure Solutions Architect are valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of network, security, and system admins.
• Architect, rollout, and refine enterprise IT infrastructure across networks, cloud, and servers.
• Establish infrastructure standards, policies, and SOPs for operations and compliance.
• Oversee full lifecycle of networks, cloud, and server platforms, monitoring and optimization.
• Develop business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime.
• Administer Windows servers, AD, and Office 365 with automation; collaborate cross‑functionally.

• At least five years working within IT infrastructure, systems, or network administration roles.
• A minimum of two years directing or overseeing technical staff; candidates coming from a team lead or senior admin background are a great match. This position calls for someone still actively performing IT work and guiding junior admins through problem-solving, rather than a career people-manager focused solely on high-level direction.
• Solid command of networking, cloud technologies, and core infrastructure, including Windows OS, Active Directory, Entra/Azure AD, and Azure.
• Hands-on background running IT projects, plus the ability to independently produce documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Comfortable using scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible—expert-level mastery isn't required, just enough capability to write basic scripts and dig in when needed.
• A results-driven, customer-focused approach with the talent for turning technical concepts into business outcomes. Relevant credentials like CISSP, CCNP, MCSE, or Azure Solutions Architect are strongly valued.

• Establish and uphold infrastructure standards, policies, and SOPs that support smooth operations, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Handle the full lifecycle of network, cloud, and server platforms, including ongoing monitoring, upkeep, and performance optimization.
• Build and validate business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to enable fast restoration and keep downtime to a minimum.
• Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, and Office 365 using automation tools, and partner with cross-functional groups to fuel company growth, office expansions, and new technology efforts.
