Job summary

Blackstone Talent Group is seeking a Director/Senior Director to build the Infrastructure Center of Excellence reporting to the CIO. You will lead modernization across Microsoft 365, Azure, on-prem, and OT in a multi-tenant environment while balancing internal talent and external partners.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, strategic roadmaps, and collaboration with security and operations to achieve secure, scalable infrastructure and compliance outcomes across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, business or related; Master’s highly desirable.
• Director-level or above leadership of enterprise infrastructure in a complex, multi-site organization.
• Experience leading infrastructure in a publicly traded manufacturing company (> $500M revenue).
• Hands-on SOX experience with controls, audit evidence and remediation.
• Extensive M&A experience from diligence to post-close integration.
• Experience consolidating Microsoft 365 tenants, identity environments and domains.
• Hands-on in regulated environments (CMMC, NIST, or defense).
• Strong executive presence with ability to present to C-level.

Responsibilities

• Put an enterprise infrastructure strategy in place and execute it.
• Build a practical CoE for subsidiary leaders.
• Modernize legacy platforms and unify technologies without disrupting business.
• Improve service delivery, governance, resilience and accountability.
• Shape a lean operating model with internal and external talent.
• Collaborate with the security leader to close infrastructure risks and support regulatory requirements.
• Create repeatable acquisition diligence and Day 1 readiness processes.
• Lead cloud and data centers, networks, Microsoft 365 and identity, and service desk.
