Job summary

ECI Group is seeking a Director of IT Operations & Strategy to guide day-to-day technology operations while shaping the three-year technology roadmap. You will lead a team, own the IT budget, and partner with executives to ensure secure, reliable platforms across the organization.

You will be responsible for maintaining a strong security posture, managing Microsoft 365 services, and aligning IT with business needs in a growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 10–15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a director-level or senior leadership role.
• Willingness to work from Atlanta office 3 days per week in a hybrid schedule.
• Experience leading as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and ability to guide across platform components.
• Proven track record owning and managing IT budgets and executive-level reporting.
• Ability to architect and communicate system interconnections and downstream risks/opportunities.
• Experience with IT service management processes and ITIL framework.

Responsibilities

• Own the organization's technology vision and multi-year roadmap.
• Manage the IT budget including planning and multi-year investment modeling.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of IT team members.
• Partner with business leaders to surface technology solutions that improve efficiency.
• Oversee IT operations, security, and platform performance across the organization.
• Maintain architectural artifacts and standards to support planning and compliance.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and manage software licensing and hardware procurement.
• Develop and present security posture and incident response plans.
