Job summary

Los Alamitos Unified School District is seeking an IT Infrastructure Supervisor to lead planning, implementation, and management of district-wide IT infrastructure. You will oversee networks, server environments, virtualization, and cybersecurity, while guiding IT staff.

The role requires a BS in IT or related field, several years of relevant experience, and desirable industry certifications. A comprehensive benefits package and a structured career progression are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or closely related field.
• Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree; Minimum 3–5 years in network administration, systems engineering, cybersecurity or related IT infrastructure roles.
• Industry certifications highly desirable: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, Palo Alto, Security+, CISSP, CISA/M.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure (networks, on‑premise and cloud servers, virtualization, cybersecurity).
• Oversee system performance, reliability, and security; propose infrastructure improvements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards; provide technical leadership to IT staff.
