Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and four years of professional network experience; Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer is highly preferred. Travel to multiple district sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related technical field and four years of professional experience maintaining network infrastructure.
• Microsoft Certificated Systems Engineer preferred; school district experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, and implement software for network equipment such as routers and switches.
• Administer network services at user, workstation, and server levels.
• Maintain network security and implement automated management systems.
• Coordinate network projects and train staff on network procedures.
• Oversee daily operations of voice network and supervise telecommunications vendors.
