Job summary

NCCI in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an IT Infrastructure Intern to join our Platform and Network Engineering team starting in October 2026. This paid, part-time internship (20-25 hours/week) offers hands-on exposure to infrastructure practices, automation, monitoring, and site reliability in a hybrid, local setting.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field, you will work with mentors on projects and 3-4 month initiatives to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or enrolled in a reputable program.
• Fundamental knowledge of IT infrastructure principles and best practices.
• Hands-on coursework with Linux, programming, networking, monitoring, and log management tools.
• Basic understanding of OS configuration and networking (Windows, Unix/Linux) and DNS/DHCP.

Responsibilities

• Support research, scripting, and remediation tasks alongside mentors using infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Develop familiarity with Linux and programming concepts through hands-on tasks.
• Assist with ticket processing and documentation to drive improvements within Platform and Network Engineering.
