Job summary

NorthStar Energy’s IT department, part of the Shared Service organization, is responsible for delivering best-in-class technology solutions across operating entities. The IT Infrastructure Manager will ensure smooth operation, security, and uptime of NorthStar’s tech systems.

You’ll oversee infrastructure, security, and support processes; guide cybersecurity growth across the company and subsidiaries; this is an onsite role in Seattle with occasional travel to field locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or related field.
• Proven track record with cybersecurity strategies, infrastructure management, and IT support processes.
• Experience implementing and managing a cybersecurity and бизнес continuity program.
• Experience with PCI, SOX, NIST, CMMC, OWASP frameworks.
• Managing a diverse team of remote, technical personnel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting while prioritizing and planning effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor IT professionals, drive a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Ensure timely and effective IT end-user support across the organization.
• Monitor IT processes, systems and infrastructure performance and reporting.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks and storage.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data and systems; conduct audits.
• Plan and manage IT projects, align initiatives with business goals and budget.
• Ensure IT operations comply with regulations and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans; run tests.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for high-quality services.
• Track procurement and expenses; identify cost-saving opportunities.
