We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator to support and maintain the daily IT operations of a growing manufacturing facility in Pooler, GA. This role is ideal for an IT professional with experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, networks, systems, and end users in a fast-paced corporate or industrial environment.
As the IT Infrastructure Administrator, you will serve as the primary point of coordination between internal stakeholders, corporate IT teams, vendors, and managed service providers to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant IT operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern infrastructure technologies while supporting critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Support
- Coordinate and support enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, backup systems, virtualization platforms, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability while identifying and resolving recurring technical issues.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues involving endpoints, servers, network connectivity, and business-critical systems.
- Maintain backup verification procedures and support disaster recovery readiness.
Network Administration
- Support Cisco-based LAN/WAN and wireless environments.
- Assist with VLAN management, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and network troubleshooting.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, inventories, and configuration records.
- Coordinate with managed service providers and vendors on network-related projects and escalations.
Technical Support Oversight
- Oversee daily IT support activities to ensure service requests are resolved accurately and efficiently.
- Provide escalation support for complex hardware, software, connectivity, and user access issues.
- Review support tickets, asset records, and technical documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
- Assist with onboarding activities, including system access, hardware deployment, and user readiness.
Security & Compliance
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and ensure adherence to company security standards.
- Coordinate vulnerability remediation efforts and security-related projects.
- Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain proper change management and operational procedures.
Documentation & Project Coordination
- Create and maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, knowledge-base articles, and infrastructure documentation.
- Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, maintenance activities, and IT projects.
- Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely completion of work.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, or enterprise technical support.
- Experience working with vendors, contractors, or managed service providers.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Technical Skills
- Windows 11 administration and deployment.
- Microsoft 365 administration.
- TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and wireless networking.
- Endpoint management and cybersecurity best practices.
- Backup and recovery solutions.
- Virtualization technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
- Experience with:
- VMware
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Enterprise monitoring and endpoint security tools
- Experience with IT audits, incident management, and infrastructure lifecycle planning.

This position is fully onsite in Pooler, GA and will support office, server room, and manufacturing environments. The role may require occasional lifting of IT equipment, walking throughout the facility, and limited after-hours support for system upgrades or planned maintenance.
