Our client seeks an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to coordinate and deliver small to medium infrastructure initiatives supporting generation, transmission, telecom, solar, facilities, real estate, and regional IT enterprise work. The role requires rigorous project controls, clear communication, thorough documentation, and consistent stakeholder coordination while managing a high volume of concurrent projects across the Duke Energy Florida environment.

Rate: $40.00 to $45.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Manage approximately sixty active projects simultaneously with on-time delivery.
- Coordinate scope, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, action items, and follow-up.
- Maintain timely documentation of communications, decisions, updates, and actions in JIRA.
- Collaborate with telecom, engineering, field, and implementation teams to schedule and execute work.
- Provide concise weekly updates on status, upcoming work, risks, dependencies, and near-term activities.
- Partner with product owners to resolve questions, remove obstacles, and support delivery.
- Support kickoff meetings, planning sessions, and occasional site visits within Florida.
- Develop working knowledge of the environment and telecom products and services for internal customers.
- Track and report budgets, forecasts, estimates, purchase requests, invoices, and variances.
Experience Requirements:
- Substantial project management experience in infrastructure, utility, telecom, construction, facilities, generation, transmission, solar, or renewable energy.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills suited to high-volume concurrent project portfolios.
- Proficiency managing and reporting project budgets.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including stakeholder and leadership status reporting.
- Experience planning, facilitating, and documenting meetings with decisions, risks, actions, and follow-up.
- Valid driver's license.
- Commitment to attend in-office Tuesday morning staff meetings in St. Petersburg, FL.
- Commitment to work in the office three days per week, with Tuesday and Wednesday required onsite.
- Preferred: Telecommunications or IT industry background.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, JIRA, Primavera/P6, and Business Objects.
- Preferred: Familiarity with telecom service delivery in utility, field, construction, or enterprise settings.
- Preferred: Experience coordinating field work, site visits, kickoff meetings, construction or outage windows, or technician dispatch.
- Preferred familiarity with one or more: data networking (switches/routers), transport equipment (Ciena or SEL ICON), RF technologies (Cambium or point-to-point microwave), DC power systems (-48VDC, 130VDC), and fiber optics.
