Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with engineering, telecommunications, SCADA, fiber optic, or utility projects.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, reporting, and change control.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors on technical projects.
• Proficient with project management tools to track performance and deliverables.

A west coast based utility is hiring for a Communications/SCADA Project Manager to oversee telecommunications, SCADA, fiber optic, and RTU replacement projects from initiation through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating engineers, technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager will develop project plans, schedules, cost forecasts, risk assessments, and procurement strategies, while leading field execution activities, equipment deployments, RTU replacement programs, and project closeout documentation. This position plays a key role in ensuring telecommunications and operational technology infrastructure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives.

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of project management or related professional experience.
• Experience supporting engineering, telecommunications, SCADA, fiber optic, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasting, reporting, and change control.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors on technical infrastructure projects.
• Ability to use project management tools and technical software to track project performance and deliverables.

Nice to Haves

• CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or similar project management certification.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Primavera, or other project scheduling and cost tracking software.
• Experience within electric utilities, utility construction, or utility operations environments.
