Job summary

Peak Vista Community Health Centers seeks an IT Technician I to provide first-line desktop and user support for a fast-paced medical IT environment. You will handle phone support, remote troubleshooting, and issue logging in the ticket system while following established processes to ensure timely, accurate resolutions for a broad user base across our clinics.

Excellent communication, patience, and documentation skills are essential as you collaborate with hospital staff and IT leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science is preferred.
• 1 year IT support experience or COMPTIA Certification required.
• Windows 10/Active Directory/Microsoft Office proficiency and IT certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone support for IT Helpdesk requests.
• Log all tasks and user requests in the ticketing system with troubleshooting steps.
• Use remote desktop tools to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding Active Directory logons and mail accounts.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to process improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Follow HIPAA privacy and security rules and Peak Vista core values.
