Job summary

IOM - UN Migration is seeking an Information and Communication Technology Associate to provide IT Helpdesk support for the Washington, DC office and sub offices. The role includes maintenance of ICT systems, user training, and coordination with the ICT team.

The candidate will monitor networks, manage Active Directory, and ensure secure communications. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is required with a preference for those with international NGO exposure.

Qualifications

• Education as specified: HS with experience or a Bachelor's in CS/Info Mgmt or related field.
• Experience with Networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and Windows workstations/servers.
• Experience with HP/Compaq/Lenovo/Microsoft/Meraki/Cisco/Apple hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICT Helpdesk support for local users in Washington, DC and sub offices.
• Monitor production databases; prepare reports and documentation.
• Maintain installation and configuration procedures; document reports and SOPs.
• Train users on software, management and office desktop tools.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve software and application issues.
• Maintain secure data channels and TLS/SSL VPN for remote sites.
• Manage user accounts and Active Directory security groups.
• Follow ICT SOPs; report non-compliance to management.
• Liaise with other teams and provide regular progress reports to supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
