Job summary

IOM - UN Migration in Washington, DC, invites qualified candidates for the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Officer role supervising ICT operations in the Global Office.

The position focuses on cybersecurity, IT strategy, and managing an ICT team to support humanitarian operations and donor requirements. English fluency required; remote collaboration with HQ and regional offices is common.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and server administration.
• Experience in cybersecurity policy implementation and incident response.
• Proven ability to coordinate ICT services across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ICT Unit activities ensuring timely, accurate delivery aligned with policy.
• Coordinate ICT services with GO management and field operations.
• Serve as liaison for cybersecurity, vendors, and UN agencies.
• Supervise GO ICT Team and provide Tier 1 support with escalation as needed.
• Develop SOPs, BCP, DR plans and ICT risk records for GO.
