Job summary

Jobtailor in Troy, MO seeks an on-site IT Support Specialist to provide direct customer service and technical support for local and remote users. You will maintain server health and assist the on-premise team with troubleshooting, deployment, and network configuration.

Responsibilities include configuring PCs, wireless access points, and security compliance, using AD/Remote Desktop, and operating AV equipment for meetings and presentations.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 3+ years of IT experience with various operating systems (Windows 7/10, etc.).
• Education preferred: Vocational Certificate or associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users via phone, email, online systems and in person.
• Maintain server health and performance to support all production systems.
• Assist and work with remote infra support team as on-premise IT support for troubleshooting, deployment, cabling, monitoring, and other tasks.
• Configure and install PCs, network printing devices, peripherals, and software; attach equipment to the network.
• Configure and install wireless access points and L2 switches.
• Ensure system security in compliance with company policy.
• Utilize tools such as Active Directory and Remote Desktop.
• Operate audio/visual equipment (Video Teleconferencing devices, projectors, presentation hardware).
• Continue to improve ability to diagnose complex problems and learn new skills in IT team role.
