Job summary

Jazz at Lincoln Center is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician I to serve as the frontline support for employees, handling hardware, software, accounts, and network issues. This role maintains documentation, assists with onboarding, and escalates complex problems to specialized teams as needed.

The position is full-time, on-site at 3 Columbus Circle, New York, NY, with a compensation range based on an hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• One to three years of help desk or desktop support experience preferred.
• Experience with common enterprise software and IT processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for technology support requests via help desk, email, phone, or in person.
• Take ownership of tickets through resolution, including troubleshooting and follow-up.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, printing, and account access issues.
• Provide support for common user issues including password resets, software installation, and network connectivity.
• Escalate complex issues to Network Administrator, SaaS support, or Director of IT as needed.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding, workstation deployment, and asset management.
