Job summary

Wedgewood Weddings is seeking a Help Desk Technician IT Support in Temecula, CA to provide first-line technical assistance to employees. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and coordinate with our managed service provider to resolve problems quickly.

The role needs strong communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. Prior IT help desk experience and familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of Information Technology and how we leverage technology to serve our employees.
• Prior IT help desk experience with a growing multi-unit retail company.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Active Directory, setup new users, security groups, group policies, and other admin AD functions.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound help desk calls and diagnose, resolve, or escalate computer issues to our MSP with the goal of first call resolution.
• Triage callers’ technical needs and log requests and incidents with summaries of the issue.
• Provide basic technical assistance including Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, email gateway, onboarding/offboarding, user training.
• Be the primary point of accountability for all service requests assigned to you.
• Assist in provisioning, QA and deployment of assets.
• Innovate and deploy automation to reduce time to resolution of recurring issues.
• Follow SOPs and guidelines; identify and report breakdowns.
• Communicate openly with MSP to ensure timely issue acknowledgment and resolution.
