METRO INDUSTRIAL SERVICES in Frankfort, IN, seeks an IT Help Desk Support professional for a temporary, first-shift role. You will troubleshoot and support Windows-based desktops, printers, and peripherals across the plant, enabling onboarding, separations, and equipment access.

• 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Help Desk, or a related role preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, organization, and customer-service skills, with experience supporting Windows computers, hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Manufacturing or industrial IT experience is highly preferred, with the ability to work independently in both office and active plant-floor environments.

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill IT Help Desk Support positions for a Manufacturing company in Frankfort, IN. This is a Temporary job.

Duties for this position include:

• Provide Help Desk and Desktop Support to employees throughout the facility, troubleshooting computers, hardware, software, printers, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
• Provide first-response IT support on the plant floor while assisting with new-hire onboarding, employee separations, equipment, and system access.
• Assist with IT preparation and implementation for new machinery and manufacturing equipment, while maintaining accurate IT asset/software inventories and documenting IT activities.

Compensation (USD):

$30.00 - $40.00/hour

Schedule:

• 1st Shift
• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• 30-minute lunch

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Help Desk, or a related role preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, organization, and customer-service skills, with experience supporting Windows computers, hardware, software, and peripherals.
