Job summary

American Life is seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist in New York, NY. This full-time role provides first-line support to external clients, agents, and IMOs, as well as internal IT services for computers, networks, and security systems.

You will work with an MSP, manage video conferencing systems, document tickets, and educate users on best practices. A Bachelor's degree is preferred; A+ and Network+ certs or 6+ years in IT helpdesk are acceptable in lieu of degree.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or in person.
• Coordinate IT support with MSP and third-party vendors.
• Maintain and troubleshoot collaboration systems (Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms).
• Document all incidents and solutions in the helpdesk system.
• Educate users on best practices and security awareness.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams as needed.
