Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. in Omaha, NE seeks an on-site IT Support Specialist to help customers with computer systems and networks. You will assist users, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure stable operation of client environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Train users on basic computer usage.
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
• Install, modify, repair, and maintain hardware, software, workstations, and servers.
• Run diagnostics to identify problems and resolve them.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and other networks.
• Assist customers via email, in person, or phone.
• Use systems management tools to monitor events and manage ticketing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing technical assistance and support on site for customer questions and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
• Training computer users on basic usage of computer systems
• Maintaining daily performance of computer systems
• Installing, modifying, cleaning up, and repairing computer hardware, software, workstations, and servers
• Running diagnostic programs and asking questions to determine nature of problem, and then resolving problems
• Resolving technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
• Responding to questions from customers seeking help either via email, in person, or over the phone
• Using systems management tools to monitor events, manage ticket system, and ensure clients' environments are running optimally
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

• Regular, reliable attendance
• A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications preferred but not required
• 1-year experience in similar role preferred but not required
• Must be available for varying shifts depending on customers' needs
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a team
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
• Bilingual a plus
